JAX Refrigeration turns seven years old this month! Let’s take a look at what that means…
“It’s hard to believe that seven years have gone by! From the small corner office in a strip mall to the state-of-the-art headquarters, a lot has happened in those seven short years. I am grateful to have had such a loyal working relationship with Mark and his team of talented associates and it is a joy to do business with people I consider friends. Not only has Mark grown a business from the ground up, but he also started a non-profit that gives back to the local community. It’s a pleasure doing business with JAX Refrigeration and I look forward to many more years to come.”
– Gantt Crouch, Ferguson
“Lots of hard work, fun and long-term relationships that we try to nurture every day! It is fun doing business with people that you can call friends!”
– Mark Lowery, President
“The birth of JAX Refrigeration has been a wild ride with many twists and turns. Looking back over the seven years, the hard work and dedication has provided a great experience and I look forward to a bright future.”
– Ed Trotzke, Senior Vice President
“JAX has been a part of my life for the last six years. I am very happy and grateful to be a part of the JAX team. We have the greatest and most professional people at all levels. Looking forward to the next 20 years!”
– Cliff White, Refrigeration Superintendent
“JAX has been more like a second family to me rather than a place where I simply go to work. I can’t think of another organization that I have worked for that equals the atmosphere that JAX has created. I am proud to be a JAXian.”
– Michael Winslow, Regional Manager
“The level of “giving back” and respect for our staff as people and not just employee numbers makes me want to go to work every day. We set the bar high and keep challenging ourselves to do even better. This is the best opportunity I could have asked for and I truly love what I do and who I do it for! Happy Anniversary, JAX!”
– Kim Hollifield, National Parts Manager
It’s the hope of every aspiring musician – to be discovered. LaVilla School of the Arts student Jimmy Moseley was playing his violin on the streets outside the new Hoptinger restaurant in Five Points when multi-platinum musician and humanitarian Michael Franti heard the young virtuoso and invited Moseley to play with him on stage.
Franti was in Five Points for a meet-and-greet fundraiser for his nonprofit, Do It For The Love Foundation, which was hosted by JAX Cares. Do it For The Love is a wish-granting nonprofit organization that brings people living with life-threatening illness, children with severe challenges and wounded veterans to live concerts of their dreams.
Franti, who spotted Moseley during the 12-year-old’s impromptu jam session, invited the young musician to join him for a song on stage at the meet-and-greet. Then, he invited Moseley and his family to his show that night at Mavericks, where he again brought the young violin player onto the stage and showcased his talents to a cheering crowd.
“I couldn’t hear anything I was playing. I had to keep putting my ear on my violin just to make sure I was playing it right,” said Moseley. “[Franti] kept looking over to make sure I was okay, and then he started to lay down on the stage and motioned me to do the same thing. That was so cool.”
JAX Refrigeration President Mark Lowery said it was an exciting night all around for granting dreams. “We are obviously proud to help grant wishes through Michael’s Do It For The Love Foundation,” he said. “But to be a part of something so organic, to see a dream of a young musician unexpectedly come true right before our eyes, that was pure magic.”

You’ve seen us share the wonderful words from our clients about the great values and hard work of our JAX Family – but they aren’t the only ones! Part of what makes our company so successful is the positive relationships we have with our partners and vendors. And so, this month, we bring you Through the Grapevine – Vendor Edition!
Jeff Gonsalves, President of American Industrial Development, has traveled from Miami Beach, Fla. to Huntington Beach, Calif. visiting with folks in the industrial sector. With his vast experience, we are proud to hear about the impact our family has made on him.
In February, we had a surprise party for our Vice President of Administration, Joy Bardin. Thank you, Joy, for all you do for your JAX family!
JAXCares has been a longtime supporter of Healing Every Autistic Life (HEAL) – especially when it so closely affects those in our JAX family. JAX Refrigeration employee Anissa Duncan and her younger brother recently participated in HEAL’s Feb. 23 fundraiser. She shared this about the journey and successes she has experienced with her sibling.
My brother, Travis Logerwell, and I were very excited to be a part of HEAL’s Starry Skies & Butterflies FUN-Raiser. Thank you to JAX Refrigeration for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful cause. Travis has Asperger’s Syndrome and has faced many difficulties growing up, socially and intellectually. With the hard work and dedication of our parents and schools in California, where we were raised, Travis is more high functioning than ever! We are very proud of Travis and thankful for all of the foundations and programs that focus on Autism and Asperger’s.
JAXCares is a proud supporter of the following charitable organizations and ministries.
We are so proud of our JAX Family! Please join us in celebrating their milestones and accomplishments!

Innovation is the key, and our constant need to “find a better way” is the driving force behind new developments within JAX Mechanical. MEAS-JAX has met customers’ sustainability needs with the use of ammonia and CO2 refrigerants. From site built to package systems, our engineers have the expertise to meet your needs.
JAXCool crews are working with safety, quality and productivity in completing current projects in the states of Pennsylvania, Utah and Arkansas. JAXCool was also awarded a thermal renovation project in Orlando, Florida for a food processing company.
