Giving back to our community
JAX Refrigeration has always been a supporter of national and local charities since our incorporation. We created the JAXCares Foundation, Inc., a non-profit charity foundation which was recently granted 501c3 status and is now accepting donations. We distribute the monies to the community and to the national charities we represent.
How To Contribute
Contribution interests should be directed to Joy Bardin
. We can direct your donation to a specific charity of your choosing from the organizations listed below. If you have a non-profit you would like to nominate for consideration, let us know!
Turning 50 with a “Sense of Purpose”
JAXCares hosts reggae band Third World in support of Dreams Come True.
JAXCares held its celebratory event, Turning 50 With a “Sense of Purpose”, on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, featuring the reggae sounds of Third World. Proceeds benefited Dreams Come True, a nonprofit that helps makes dreams a reality for children battling life-threatening illnesses. Reggae legends Third World are known for familiar hits like “Now That We Found Love”, “1865 (96 Degrees In the Shade)”, “Try Jah Love” and “Sense of Purpose”.
Third World was joined by opening act Omari Banks, an Aguillan musician and former cricketer, whose hits “Move On”, “Unafraid” and “No Point to Prove” have had worldwide success. After the show, world-renowned producer and studio engineer Bulby York, from Kingston, Jamaica, DJ’ed the rest of the night away. York has collaborated with industry legends like Maxi Priest, Beres Hammond, Bounty Killer, Michael Franti, Gwen Stefani, Jimmy Cliff, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Chaka Khan, Shabba Ranks, UB40 and Sinead O’Connor. The event featured great food, beverages and a silent auction. Commemorative T-shirts were sold as well, with all proceeds going to Dreams Come True Jacksonville.
How We Give
Time, treasure and talent – at JAX Refrigeration, we’re proud to give all three to charity.
Our leadership and employees volunteer at a number of charities, including giving time to Ashford Court Retirement Home and the Mission House Homeless Shelter
, among others.
We also host fundraisers to generate donations and public awareness for such programs as Do It for the Love Foundation
, Dreams Come True
, and Wounded Warrior Project
JAX Refrigeration is not simply just a refrigeration/HVAC company. In conjunction with JAXCares, we are proud to announce that we’ve instituted a “Pay It Forward” Rewards Program where Parts customers can donate “points” they have earned through parts purchases to a non-profit organization in need of HVAC improvements or service.
